February Leftovers

If I can't remove all of the invasive vine at least I can trash some seed pods and prevent them from becoming next year's vine.

I went to Skypace at night, which finishes with white, unlike the morning, which finishes with yellow.

I have been working at the elementary school during recess and lunch time. I am told I am helpful, but it feels like most kids are just fine without me and the others need about ten of me!

Can you believe this tree looks so great?
R. started here twenty years ago and
I did not think this tree would make it.

I really love the one-on-one time with a little one and my neighbors said they could use some help! I took care of Baby three days as a trial run. It was so fun to walk around the neighborhood and pull out my favorite books and cds. And they paid me!

I like having flowers in the window, but I seldom have any and just as often think to buy some.

I bought my first Lego set.

I enjoyed building it with tips from my sister, an AFOL.

After the current flowers die I'll put these in the window.

June Leftovers

many treasures that needed a good home
and no one was there to buy them

Spring

I got to see a little bit of snow.

There were even a few flakes falling when I arrived.

Mostly I got all the beauty of spring without any challenges of winter.

So many beautiful trees!

So many different kids of daffodils

What I Saw Around Town

 

I went for a walk with a friend and
then another one with her mom.

The freesia smelled great

and the azalea looked great.

I was not excited to see a swarm of bees
finding a new home in a tree in front of the library.

Not the usual place for a bicycle.

This is not a little library.

There is always something new to see in town.

New Season

 I love the spring flowers in our yard.

I love the new leaves on the trees, too!

So small, but it gives me hope.

Our new tree is growing!

Such a beautiful shade of green.
