I suppose there are entertaining shows in English people watch to improve their language skills, but I don't pay much attention to them. The Danes know how keep your attention, too, especially by letting kids do things that I don't see happening around here.
My favorite of the week was a show in which three kids competed in three tasks. The first I didn't see, but A. said the kids had to catch a crab, put it on land, and race it back into the water. The second involved having a big, flat fish put on the kid's stomach and the kid had to crab walk along the pier.
The final task involved riding a bicycle between two flags, but the flags had been placed in the water.
And that is how we are spending our summer vacation.
