Catching up

A few quick posts -

Open House at the high school is more casual than Back-to-School night. We didn't do a lot of looking around for classes for next year, but enjoyed visiting current classrooms and hearing nice stories from teachers ("That's their job. They have to say nice things," pointed out the teen).

We got to see a sample from pottery class, although this is all from last semester. This semester A. has been using the wheel and brought home some mugs and vases this week.

Outside of the German classroom was A.'s brick, top and center.

Mostly I enjoyed seeing parents I don't see anymore because our kids run in different circles and we don't hang out by the elementary school after drop off or pick up.
